What are Clue, Mend and Find?
Three word games in one app. Clue is an arrow-word puzzle (sometimes called a Scandinavian crossword). Mend breaks a theme’s words into pieces for you to put back together. Find is a word search that never scrolls.
How many puzzles are there?
Clue has 3,700 ready-made puzzles: 700 in The Journey and 3,000 in Unwind. Mend and Find build each puzzle on your phone from 1,517 themes and 22,364 answers, so they have no fixed total.
What are Points for?
Finishing a puzzle in any of the three games earns Points, and a hint costs 25. Points come only from solving, there is nothing to buy, and you can’t lose them by waiting. The wallet holds up to 100.
Can I make my own puzzles?
Yes. In Mend you can make a puzzle from a title and 6 to 30 answers, and share it with a friend as plain text through any messaging app.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. QuietGrid has no internet permission, and every game works fully offline.
Can I play against someone?
In Clue you can take turns against a computer opponent that runs on your phone and scores by the same rules as you. Mend and Find are solo. There’s no online play.
How do I move my progress to a new phone?
Android can back up your progress automatically to your own Google account (you can switch this in Settings), and you can also export your progress to a file and import it on the new phone.
Is it suitable for children?
QuietGrid is rated PEGI 3, and its word lists were reviewed to keep out offensive words.
