The idea

What is Placeful?

Placeful is a cozy goods-sorting puzzle, sometimes called a “goods sort” or “triple match” game. You move jars, tins and kitchen things between shelf compartments; three of a kind on one shelf are tidied away.

Every few levels you win, your room gets a makeover. Start with the Pantry and the Kitchen, across 150 levels in volumes of 15, with new rooms arriving in free updates. Every level is built so that it can be won.

How to play

How a game of Placeful flows

Pick a room and a level:

Play through the volumes at your own pace, or try Zen, the Daily puzzle, the Weekly Challenge or Challenge replays.

Sort the shelves:

Drag goods between compartments. Three alike on one shelf are tidied away, and the rows behind slide forward.

Clear the counter:

Extra goods wait on the floating shelf, and every one of them has to find a place before the level is complete.

Make over your room:

Winning levels earns makeovers, board styles, golden goods and awards. Undo as often as you like.

Normal levels never run out of time, undo is unlimited, and letter badges make matching easy.

How do I back up my Placeful progress?

Save a backup file from the app whenever you like, and restore it later, including on a new phone.

A level keeps beating me. Can I make it easier?

Yes. After a few tries, Placeful offers a hand, such as playing without the timer or making the level a little easier. There is never a penalty.

Some levels have a timer. Can I turn it off?

Normal levels never run out of time; the clock only decides your stars. Tougher levels are timed, but you always get a free second chance and unlimited retries.

Is Placeful free?

Yes. Placeful is free on Google Play, with no ads and no in-app purchases.

What kind of game is Placeful?
