Who we are

Sabaloka is an independent, one-person maker of games and apps for Android, based in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. In this policy, “Sabaloka”, “we” and “us” mean the person who makes and publishes Sabaloka apps and runs this website. “You” means anyone who uses a Sabaloka app or visits this website.

Sabaloka is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us through the contact page.

Our apps and games

Sabaloka apps are built around a simple principle: they should ask for as little information as possible. The released games are designed to work offline, without accounts, advertising, behavioural analytics or telemetry.

What the apps do not do

• No advertising and no third-party ad networks or ad SDKs.
• No behavioural analytics, telemetry or crash-reporting SDKs that profile how you play.
• No accounts, sign-ins or account-based tracking.
• No in-app purchases or payment processing.
• No sale or sharing of personal information for advertising.

Information stored on your device

Game progress, settings, statistics and similar app data are stored locally on your phone. This may include saved boards or puzzles, preferences, scores, streaks, milestones, themes and other information an app needs to work. This data stays on your device. Sabaloka does not receive it unless you deliberately choose to send something to us.

Internet access

The released games do not need an internet connection, and their core experience works fully offline. Some actions outside the app, such as opening this website, visiting a Google Play page, sending an email or using Android’s share menu, are handled by your device or by other apps and may use the internet under their own policies.

Backup files and sharing

Where an app offers a backup, it creates a file on your device that you save to a location you choose, such as your phone’s storage or a cloud storage app. Where an app lets you share an image or result, it is created on your device and passed to Android’s share menu; you choose where it goes. Sabaloka does not receive a copy of backup files or shared content.

Device permissions

Sabaloka apps request only the permissions needed for a feature to work. Files are opened through Android’s own file picker, so an app only sees the files you choose. If a future version needs a new permission, this policy will be updated to explain why before that version is published.

This website

This website is a WordPress site. It does not show advertising and does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. When you visit it, the following services process limited technical information:

• Hosting: our web host processes standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request) to deliver the site and keep it secure.
• Jetpack Stats (Automattic): we use Jetpack Stats to count visits and see which pages are popular. It processes information such as your IP address, browser, device type, referring page and the pages you view, and shows us aggregated statistics. Automattic’s privacy policy applies to this processing.
• Google Fonts: some typefaces are loaded from Google’s servers, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google when the font files are requested.
• Security: Jetpack’s security features may log IP addresses of login attempts to protect the site from abuse.
• Links to Google Play: when you follow a “Get it on Google Play” link, you leave this website and Google’s terms and privacy policy apply.

WordPress may set essential cookies for site administrators who log in. Visitors who only read the site are not asked to create an account.

When you contact us

If you use the contact forms, or otherwise write to us, we receive the information you choose to send: your name and email address, the type of message, the app or game it is about, and, for support requests, optional details such as the app version, your phone model and Android version, along with your message.

Messages sent through the contact forms are stored, and a copy is emailed to Sabaloka, in this website’s database so that we can read and reply to them. The form asks for your consent before you submit it.

We use this information only to reply to you, investigate and fix problems, improve the apps, and keep a reasonable record of our conversation. We do not add you to a mailing list or use your message for advertising.

Please avoid sending sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely needed.

Third-party services

Some services involved in using Sabaloka apps are run by other companies and have their own privacy practices. Sabaloka does not control them.

• Google Play: downloading, installing and updating apps is handled by Google under Google’s terms and privacy policy. Google may share aggregated install and crash statistics with developers through the Play Console; Sabaloka does not add its own analytics.
• Your device and operating system: your phone’s manufacturer and Android may process information under their own policies.
• Apps you choose: email apps, cloud storage, printing and anything you choose from Android’s share menu handle your content under their own policies.
• Website services: our web host, Automattic (Jetpack) and Google (Fonts), as described above.

Some of these providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Where that happens, it is governed by their own terms and safeguards.

Children’s privacy

The released Sabaloka games are rated PEGI 3 and are suitable for all ages. Because the apps do not require accounts and do not collect personal information or behavioural analytics, they do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the contact forms, contact us and we will delete it.

Security and retention

Because app progress and settings are stored on your device, their security also depends on your device, its lock screen and its operating system. For information you send us directly, we use reasonable measures appropriate to its nature.

On your device: app data stays until you reset progress, clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app. Backup files you create stay wherever you saved them until you delete them.

Messages to us: emails and contact-form messages are kept for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, keep support records or meet legal obligations, and are then deleted.

Website statistics and logs: are kept by the relevant providers according to their own retention policies.

Your rights and choices

You can stop using a Sabaloka app at any time and remove its data by clearing its storage or uninstalling it. You can also choose not to contact us or use the contact form.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict how it is used, and to receive a copy of it. Because the apps do not send personal information to us, this mainly applies to messages you have sent us. To make a request, use the contact page. We will respond within a reasonable time, and you may also contact your local data protection authority.

App-by-app details

The sections below add details for individual apps. Everything in the general sections above also applies to each app.

QuietGrid

QuietGrid contains three games, Clue, Mend and Find. It is designed to work entirely offline: the app has no internet permission, and it does not use advertising, analytics, telemetry or accounts. It does not send information about you or your play to Sabaloka or to anyone else.

Stored on your device: saved games for Clue, Mend and Find, puzzle progress, Daily Puzzle streaks, your Points balance, statistics and milestones, puzzles you make in Mend, and settings such as difficulty, board size, colour palette and sound.

Backups: Android’s automatic backup can save QuietGrid’s progress to your own Google account. This is done by Android, not by Sabaloka, and you can switch it off in QuietGrid’s Settings or in your phone’s backup settings. You can also export your progress to a file that you save where you choose, and import it on another phone.

Sharing puzzles: if you share a puzzle you made in Mend, it is shared as plain text through Android’s share menu, to the app or person you choose. Sabaloka does not receive a copy.

Data shared with Sabaloka: none, unless you choose to contact us.

HueHaven

HueHaven is designed to work entirely offline. It does not use advertising, analytics, telemetry or accounts, and it does not send information about you or your play to Sabaloka or to anyone else.

Stored on your device: level progress across all modes, daily puzzle progress, hints and undo state, and your choices of themes, tile designs, well styles, backgrounds, patterns and accessibility options.

Backups: you can back up your progress to a file in Settings and restore it on a new phone. HueHaven has no internet access at all.

Data shared with Sabaloka: none, unless you choose to contact us.

Sumfold

Sumfold is designed to work entirely offline. It does not use advertising, analytics, telemetry or accounts, and it does not send information about you or your play to Sabaloka or to anyone else.

Stored on your device: a saved game for each board size, goals, best scores, statistics (recent games, milestones, time played and win streaks), and theme, background, sound, haptics and animation settings.

Backups: your games save automatically on your device.

Sharing: if you share a picture of a finished board, the image is created on your phone and sent only to the app or person you choose through Android’s share menu.

Data shared with Sabaloka: none, unless you choose to contact us.

Placeful

Placeful is designed to work entirely offline. It does not use advertising, analytics, telemetry or accounts, and it does not send information about you or your play to Sabaloka or to anyone else.

Stored on your device: level and volume progress, room makeovers, collected goods, awards and medals, Zen, Daily and Weekly progress, board styles and settings such as letter badges and sound.

Backups: you can save a backup file whenever you like and restore it later, including on a new phone. Placeful never connects to the internet.

Data shared with Sabaloka: none, unless you choose to contact us.

LookCloser (in development)

LookCloser is not yet released. It is being designed under the same principles as the released games: no ads, no account, no tracking and no internet connection, with progress and settings stored on your device. This section will be updated with full details before LookCloser is published.

Enigmetry (in development)

Enigmetry is not yet released. It is being designed to work offline, without ads, accounts or tracking, with progress and settings stored on your device. This section will be updated with full details before Enigmetry is published.

Sabaloka PDF Tools

Sabaloka PDF Tools processes the PDFs and images you choose entirely on your device. It does not upload your documents, images or file history to Sabaloka, and it has no accounts, analytics or behavioural tracking.

Files you open: you choose which files the app can open through Android’s file picker or share menu. Your original files are not changed.

Stored on your device: working copies, drafts, completed results and recovery information are kept in the app’s private storage until you remove them. Uninstalling the app removes these private copies; copies you saved elsewhere remain.

Sharing, printing and cloud storage: if you open a file from, or save or share a result to, a cloud service, printer or another app, that service handles the file under its own privacy practices.

Sabaloka PDF Tools has not yet been released. This section will be reviewed again before publication.

Sabaloka Image Tools (in development)

Sabaloka Image Tools is not yet released. Like Sabaloka PDF Tools, it is being designed to process images on your device, without uploading them to Sabaloka, and without ads, accounts or tracking. This section will be updated with full details before the app is published.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the apps, the website, legal requirements or third-party services change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If an app update changes how information is handled, this policy will be updated before that version is published.
